Mountain Sunrise Academy is currently a Charter Initiative actively working to receive approval from the Utah State Charter School Board. This process will span from July 2014-February 2015. After final approval has been received, MSA will prepare to open in the fall of 2016.
The current status of the MSA Charter is:
Charter Proposal Approved -- July 19, 2014
Full Charter Application submitted to USOE -- September 26, 2014
Anticipated feedback -- mid-October 2014
Mountain Sunrise Academy (MSA) is a K-8 Waldorf Methods Charter School Initiative. Applying to open in 2016 in the Millcreek area of Salt Lake County, MSA will be the first and only Utah Waldorf School.
